Cam F.: If it is the fuel pump. You can often get it running temporarily by hitting the bottom of the fuel tank with a hammer where the pump is located. Usually right in the center. This could save you the towing costs. Canyon auto could help you out with a new pump. 604 869 9030.

We have the best hours in Town - open from 8 am-8 pm Monday to Saturday. We use all the Tow Companies in Town, but more so Maple Ridge Towing. Call us at 604-467-2944 if we can be of service. :)

Amanda G.: This post is a little different so please delete if not allowed. I live in Langley just off 200. However my friend is stuck up in lac la biche after being evacuated from Fort Mac. I was supposed to drive up and get him however my car is now in a shop (in south Surrey) turns out I need to fix a belt in my transmission. (My car won't move) I don't have the funds for that does anyone know of a shop or someone in the area that is able to do it for cheaper then the place I'm at now ( they want to charge me about $2000, I feel like a dink but I really can't afford that at this moment) I have a 2005 sunfire and I just put almost a grand into it last month and the wreckers will only give me $100 for it) any ideas would be helpful! TIA
