WALLY CAR STAR CHILLIWACK ? THIS SHOP WILL ENDANGER YOUR CHILDREN ? Because they sure as hell endangered mine. My nightmare started seven months ago when I had an accident and was told by ICBC to take my car to this shop. At first glance, their reviews seemed okay—but READ THEM CAREFULLY. I’ve since spoken to others who had similar experiences, and their stories, like mine, come with proof of this shop’s extreme negligence. I brought my Toyota Highlander in, and at first, everything seemed fine. They were polite, and I thought I was in good hands. Then they told me my car was ready... It was NOT. ? Parts weren’t clipped in ? Major paint damage, dents, cracks ? Whole panels not installed properly I refused to take the car. This didn’t happen just once—it happened FOUR or FIVE times. Every single time, major, obvious issues. Finally, I had ICBC inspect the car themselves. Their reaction? Shock. They told me the car was misaligned, unsafe, and that the work was even worse than I had described. NOT A SINGLE PANEL WAS INSTALLED CORRECTLY. ICBC told the shop to redo the repairs… and that’s when things spiraled out of control. I was once again told the car was ready but as soon as I pulled into their parking lot I could see the bumper was still not clipped in or aligned . Suddenly, the shop claimed my car was missing a part from before the accident—which, by the way, is a common excuse they use against customers (just check other complaints). So, once again, I missed work, to go to pick up my car, and—guess what? ? THE BUMPER WASN’T INSTALLED PROPERLY. THE WHEEL WELL CLIPS WEREN’T EVEN CLIPPED IN. When I pointed it out, I asked to speak to Ted. His response? “They’re just clips.” Excuse me? That’s your job, my guy. Then he dropped the real bombshell: they couldn’t put my car back together properly because it was missing a structural part—a bracket that, according to them, holds my airbag sensor. Let me say this louder for the people in the back: ? THIS SHOP SENT ME HOME—TWICE—IN A CAR WITH FAULTY AIRBAGS. The second time? They KNEW the airbags wouldn’t deploy and STILL told me to take the car. They were perfectly fine sending a mother of six home in a death trap. Only after I completely lost it did they suddenly decide, “Oh, okay, we’ll fix it.” This shop is DEPLORABLE, DISGUSTING, and CORRUPT. They are everything wrong with this industry. RUN. DO NOT WALK. Moved from Edmonton to Chilliwack and need my wind shield replaced before I get my out of province done *I talked to a friend and she did the same and suggested a place that gave her a decent deal!
