Company Description

When I opened my first hair studio, it was in a small little room at the end of a long creepy hallway...definitely not ideal. My first clients (friends and business people I knew) were gracious and not intimidated by the walk “down the ugly hall”, as long as they looked better on the way out. When the opportunity arose to move to a window-front location, I jumped at it! The place was in need of complete re-work, but with sunlight from three large windows how could I go wrong? Slowly but surely, we gutted and puttied and scraped, and were able to open August 2013.

I always dreamed of owning my own little shop but never thought it possible. It was fun to dream anyway. So, I would collect things that I fell in love with and put them away into boxes, telling myself, "one day I'll have a use for this" or "it's for my future store", having no actual plan to own a store anytime soon.

Well, here I am! What are dreams made for...but to live them.

Our hope at Apostrophie + Co. is for everyone to be able to afford a little something. I love to stroll through "fancy little shops," but often I feel that my left arm is required as payment. Happily, we have been able to keep our prices low, and the smiles high. We carry a lot of unique treasures that you will discover as you wonder through. The store is my dream...the treasures in it are yours. The smiles are complimentary. It's everything a girl could want!
