Working with Inline Fencing Ltd. was both an exhausting and frustrating ordeal. We don’t recommend this company as we did not receive what we paid for. We have been patience and have extended many opportunities to InLine to make things right, but the owner, Garold refuses to respond to us. We also requested the gate be removed and our money refunded and again we were ignored. This company is simply not accountable. InLine replaced a simple backyard gate and had to return multiple times within days to fix mistakes. To date, not all deficiencies have been addressed, and the gate needs to be replaced completely at this point. Upon original install the gate height was uneven, there was a large uneven gap on one side, many exposed screw tips, screws that were not fully seated, screws that completely missed the area, a defective latch that still does not work, unevenly cut wood and missing pieces. Pieces from the old gate were used to cut corners. The gate swing was unilaterally changed by InLine and now hits the garden stones when opened. The InLine workers did not clean up and left behind many screws, pieces of wood, then swept a huge pile of sawdust into the window well. How a company responds to their mistakes is more defining than the actual mistakes. InLine received multiple requests to do the right thing but instead Garold doubled down and provided more arbitrary excuses for the shoddy job done instead of doing a better job. We are currently doing major renovations to the yard and all contractors working here have commented on the glaring sloppy appearance and poor functionality of the gate installed by InLine as it spoils the look of our outdoor space.
