Hello Beautiful Ladies, After many hours (and hours) at the hospital with my elderly Mum... I need to ask for your help. I need to get her a second-hand walker. She can barely move, but we have several appointments over the next few weeks and some are not at the hospital so I need help getting her into some of the buildings. Do any of you know where I can buy a light walker? It cannot be too big or heavy. My car is quite small. Money is an issue, so i will need something second hand. If there is a place I can rent it, even better! Thank you.
Cynthia G.: You could call Bibles for Missions. They had a couple in their store on Merivale Road. The manager's name is Beth and she is very nice. She helped me with medical supplies for my father. Their prices are very reasonable for tight budgets. http://www.bfmthriftstores.ca/ottawa-bfm-thrift-store/
